

The Indian Business Forum is an arm under the umbrella of the Indian Association Uganda which focuses on strengthening business perspective for Indians and persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in Uganda to deliberate on issues that enhance business development and also build business networks that command impressive results.
Indian Business Forum Uganda (IBF Uganda) took a momentous step towards boosting international trade by holding a fruitful meeting with The Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI). The focus was on establishing a strong partnership between IBF Uganda and UNCCI to enhance trade opportunities and compliance with certifications.
The meeting aimed to create a thriving ecosystem for international trade in Uganda and attract foreign investments to support economic growth. By leveraging their resources and networks, IBF Uganda and UNCCI plan to facilitate access to global markets for Ugandan businesses.
Joint meetings with Uganda government agencies were discussed to foster dialogue and collaboration between the private sector and government bodies. The goal is to ensure business-friendly policies and address trade barriers promptly.
A comprehensive training plan was formulated to help Ugandan businesses comply with international standards, enhancing their credibility in global markets. The plan will cover various sectors, empowering entrepreneurs with essential skills.
IBF Uganda and UNCCI are committed to this partnership, expecting it to drive sustainable economic growth, job creation, and increased global trade opportunities in Uganda.
