

The Indian Business Forum is an arm under the umbrella of the Indian Association Uganda which focuses on strengthening business perspective for Indians and persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in Uganda to deliberate on issues that enhance business development and also build business networks that command impressive results.
The newly elected executive committee members of the Indian Business Forum recently held a meeting with Mr. Jitender Singh Negi, the Second Secretary (Pol. & Com.) and Head of Chancery at the High Commission of India in Kampala. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and explore avenues for collaboration between the Indian Business Forum and the High Commission of India in promoting bilateral trade and fostering stronger business ties between India and Uganda.
During the meeting, the executive committee members engaged in productive discussions with Mr. Jitender Singh Negi. They deliberated on strategies to enhance trade and investment opportunities, as well as the potential for joint initiatives that could benefit businesses from both countries. The committee members also sought Mr. Negi’s insights and guidance on navigating regulatory frameworks, market entry procedures, and avenues for accessing relevant business information and resources.
